How do I set parental controls on the Sky Cinema and Sport app and website?

We take the welfare of your little ones seriously. That’s why access to Sky Cinema with the Sky Cinema app and website requires a PIN to access age-restricted content.

When you first access the Sky Cinema and Sky Sports apps and website, you’ll be asked to create a 4 digit PIN. This can be any 4 digit number you wish, however to make it easy to remember, we suggest using the same PIN as on your Virgin TV service.

So that we can make sure age-restricted content is only accessed by you or by anyone to whom you’ve given the Sky PIN, once you’ve set the Sky PIN you’ll need this every time you want to watch content from Sky Cinema unless it's from Sky Cinema Family or Sky Cinema Disney, even if you’re logged in with your My Virgin Media details.

Changing your Sky Cinema and Sky Sports PIN

If you’ve forgotten your Sky Cinema and Sky Sports PIN, or want to change it to another number, you can do this through the Virgin TV Anywhere website. Chrome and Opera are not supported on a PC or Mac, so you’ll need to use Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari to access TV Anywhere.

To change your Sky PIN
  1. Open your web browser and go to the Virgin TV Go website
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Sign in using your primary My Virgin Media username and password if prompted
  4. Click on Manage My Sky Cinema and Sky Sports PIN
  5. Click on Change your Sky PIN
  6. Enter your current Sky PIN
  7. Enter your new 4 digit Sky PIN
  8. Confirm your new 4 digit Sky PIN
Forgotten your Sky PIN
  1. Open your web browser and go to the Virgin TV Go website
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Sign in using your primary My Virgin Media username and password if prompted
  4. Click on Manage My Sky Cinema and Sky Sports PIN
  5. Click on Forgot your Sky PIN?
  6. Click Send to get a Sky PIN reminder sent to your registered contact email address. You’ll have set this up when you registered for My Virgin Media

That’s it. Your Sky Cinema and Sky Sports PIN has been updated, and you’ll need to use this next time you access age-restricted content.

Remember this PIN is separate to your Virgin TV PIN, even if you’ve set it to be the same number. So if you reset your Sky PIN it won’t affect your set top box. If you want to reset your Virgin TV PIN, check Your Virgin TV PIN
