If you have a Virgin Media broadband customer and an eligible O2 Pay Monthly plan customer both registered at the same address, then you can get double data on every eligible O2 Pay Monthly plan in your household.
Please note that if you already have unlimited data on your eligible O2 plan, the benefit cannot be applied.
Before vs. Supercharged with Volt
If you already have or are signing up to Virgin Media broadband, and someone in your household has an eligible O2 Pay Monthly plan, you will be eligible for a broadband speed boost up to the next available level (up to a max of 1Gbps).
Please note that if you already have Gig1 broadband or you are already receiving the fastest speeds you can get in your area, then the benefit cannot be applied.
Before vs. Supercharged with Volt
Our superstrong WiFi guarantee with WiFi Max is our promise you’ll enjoy download speeds of at least 30Mbps in every room or get £100 bill credit. It’s backed up by our signal boosting mesh WiFi Pods (if needed) and Intelligent WiFi service – at no extra cost with Gig1 Fibre Broadband and our Volt Packages. This means if you don’t get download speeds of at least 30Mbps in every room, you can bag up to 3 WiFi Pods, on us – and if that still doesn’t do the trick, we’ll pop £100 credit on your next bill.

If you already have or are signing up to a Virgin Media broadband service and someone in your household is an eligible O2 Pay Monthly plan customer, those in the household with an eligible O2 Pay Monthly phone or sim, can whizz around the world using their O2 phones or sims, in 75 destinations at no extra cost, with O2 Travel Inclusive Zone.
There’s no upper use limit on data, but traffic management steps will apply. If you go over your allowance, you’ll pay the standard international roaming rates for the country you’re roaming in. Calls and texts to premium rate numbers and other special numbers are not included.
(O2 Travel Inclusive Zone included for each eligible O2 Pay Monthly sim in the Virgin Media account holder’s name and address. Includes a daily allowance of unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, and speed capped data roaming (capped at 500kbps), subject to fair usage at no extra charge, in one of our 27 international destinations, non-commercial use only. No upper use limit on data but traffic management steps will apply. Will apply for your minimum period or until you leave, cancel or upgrade. Excludes Mobile Broadband.)
To enjoy exclusive Volt benefits you need to either be:
I. signed up for both a Virgin Media broadband service and an eligible O2 Pay Monthly plan, or
II. signed up for a Virgin Media broadband service and have at least one eligible O2 Pay Monthly plan account holder in your household, or
III. signed up for an eligible O2 Pay Monthly plan and have a Virgin Media broadband service in your household.
It can take up to 14 days for Volt benefits to be applied.
If you haven’t received your Volt benefits after 14 days, make sure the address is the same on both the Virgin Media and O2 accounts in your household:
If the address isn’t the same on both accounts, your Volt benefits can’t be applied. The address on your Virgin Media account will be the address that your Virgin Media services have been installed.
If you need to change your address on your Virgin Media account, if you have one, you’ll need to follow Virgin Media’s moving house process.
If you need to update the address on your O2 account, if you have one, you can do so by visiting O2’s change my address page.

Priority used to be for O2 customers only. But since we buddied up with O2, Priority’s now available to everyone with Virgin Media broadband, too.
You can access Priority through the Priority app or Priority online. The first time you visit, O2 will ask you to register your details so they can confirm you have an O2 number or a Virgin Media broadband account.
You’ll also have the opportunity to turn on settings like location services. That way you can see nearby rewards and perks at any time – and O2 will even text you when there’s something around the corner they think you’ll like.

O2 Pay Monthly sim: The minutes and texts included in your tariff can be used in the UK and when roaming in our Europe Zone subject to our Fair Use Policy. Inclusive minutes can be used for calls to standard landlines and mobiles, but not special numbers (see the below table for more details). Picture messages will cost you an extra 65p per message. When travelling within our Europe Zone, if your UK monthly data allowance is over 25GB you’ll have a Roaming Limit of 25GB. After this you’ll be charged £3.50 per GB until you use up your monthly UK data allowance, you return to the UK or you reach your next bill cycle.

WiFi Guarantee with WiFi Max: Available to Virgin Media residential broadband customers on M50 broadband or faster provided you are not taking services in any of our 2022/2023 network expansion areas. Existing Intelligent WiFi Plus customers will be individually informed when they are moved to WiFi Max. £8 a month add-on or at no extra cost for Ultimate Oomph, Gig1 and Volt customers.
