How do I manage the parental controls on Flex?
At Virgin Media, we take the protection of your little ones very seriously. That’s why we’ve got lots of options to help you manage and choose which shows your kids can access. Remember, you’ll need to know your PIN. For help with your PIN, see Your Virgin TV PIN. If you watch shows through apps through Flex, such as Netflix or BBC iPlayer, they may have their own PIN or Parental Control settings. For more details, see Parental Control for Apps on Virgin TV.

How to lock channels on Flex
If you lock a channel, a PIN will always be needed to access it. You can lock or unlock as many channels as you like. Note: Some channels schedule programmes which are unsuitable for viewing before the 8pm watershed. As a result, these programmes require a PIN if viewing before 8pm or after 5.30am. To do this:
Press Home on the remote
Select Settings
Choose Parental Controls
Select Lock channels
Enter your PIN
Select Add Channels
Highlight the channel you want to lock or unlock
Press the back button
PIN setup for payments
You can also use the PIN you’ve set up to control purchases made through Flex. To do this:
Press Home on the remote
Select Settings
Choose Purchase Controls
Select Set PIN for Payments
Enter your PIN to set up
