How do I check the advanced connection status of the Hub?

 

What Hub do you have?

    

   

Hub 3 or Hub 4

How to check the connection status of the Hub 3 or Hub 4

Step 1 icon

Enter 192.168.0.1 into the address bar of your browser, the settings page will then load

Step 2 icon

Under Modem status overview you can see the status of your modem and the devices that are currently connected

What devices are connected to the Hub? For a more detailed look at what devices are connected, select connected devices on the left.

Modem device information

To see more details about the Hub, select Admin and then Info, here you can see hardware and software versions and how long it has been turned on and connected to the Virgin Media network

Network status information

To see more details about the Hub’s connection to the Virgin Media network, select on Advanced settings, Tools and then Network status, here you can see further details about the Downstream, Upstream, Configuration and Network logs

How to check the connection status of the Super Hub

Step 1 icon

Enter 192.168.0.1 into the address bar of your browser, the settings page will then load

Step 2 icon

Select Device Connection Status

The following screen will show information about the Super Hub's connection status, including useful details about any devices that are currently connected to the Super Hub

Return to the Super Hub's main settings page and select Advanced Settings

In the Device Management section, select Device Status*

Step 3 icon

Select Device Management at the top to return to the previous screen. Select Network Status to see more details about your Super Hub's connection to the Virgin Media network 

*You will see more details about your Super Hub, such as hardware and software versions, how long it has been turned on and connected to the Virgin Media network. You can also view your Super Hub’s LAN and WAN IP details here.
