How do I check the advanced connection status of my Virgin Media hub?

Select your Virgin Media Hub below for information on how to check the advanced connection status on your Hub.

Hub 3.0

1. Access the settings page by entering the web address shown on the Hub 3.0 sticker. For a guide on how to do this, please see Configure Advanced Settings on your Virgin Media Hub

2. On the homepage, there is a Modem status overview which gives you information on the modem status as well as which devices are connected are currently connected to your Hub 3.0

For a more detailed look at what devices are connected, click Connected devices on the left


Looking for more information?

1. Click on Admin and then Info

You will see more details about your Hub 3.0, such as hardware and software versions, how long it has been turned on and connected to the Virgin Media network

2. Click on Advanced settings, Tools and then Network status

You will see more details about your Hub 3.0's connection to the Virgin Media network. These details may be useful if you need to talk to our technical support team

How to check the connection status of the Super Hub

1. Access the Super Hub’s settings page via the web page show on the back of the unit.. For a guide on how to do this, please see Configure Advanced Settings on your Virgin Media Hub

2. Click Device Connection Status

The following screen will show information about the Super Hub's connection status, including useful details about any devices that are currently connected to the Super Hub

If you'd like even more information about the Super Hub's connection status, do the following:

1. Return to the Super Hub's main settings page

2. Click Advanced Settings at the bottom of the screen

3. In the Device Management section, click Device Status

You will see more details about your Super Hub, such as hardware and software versions, how long it has been turned on and connected to the Virgin Media network.

You can also view your Super Hub’s LAN and WAN IP details here.

4. Now click Device Management at the top to return to the previous screen. Click Network Status to see more details about your Super Hub's connection to the Virgin Media network. These details may be useful if you need to talk to our technical support team
