Device overload?
The more devices (including things like smart speakers and smart meters) you connect to the Hub, the more it can slow down. Having a faster broadband speed means your WiFi can distribute faster speeds to your devices.
Our faster broadband packages are ideal for homes with lots of devices. Sign in to My Virgin Media to see your broadband speed upgrade options that may better suits your needs.

Check your WiFi signal
Slower speeds or issues connecting when you are in rooms further away from your hub? Your WiFi signal may be struggling to reach them.
Use the Virgin Media Connect app to scan your home. If the scan finds a WiFi blackspots, use the app to order an intelligent WiFi Booster.

Factory reset your Hub
- On the back of the Hub, press the pinhole reset button for 10 seconds
- We recommend using a pin/pen for this
- It can take 5 to 10 minutes for the Hub to fully reset
- Once the white power light on the front of the Hub is solidly lit you’re good to go
Tip: The Hub will return to its factory settings, so if you’ve made any changes like updating your WiFi password, you’ll need to set these up again after the Hub has reset.
You’ll need to reconnect your devices to the Hub using your WiFi password. This can be found on the bottom of the Hub.
