Our new Hub 5 is full of our latest tech, which means you'll be ready to make the most of our broadband speeds.

 

We'll send your Hub 5 in the post, along with its very own QuickStart self-install pack. It’s super easy to set up and the pack will cover all you need to know. 

We’ve got that covered. You will need to return your old kit to us, just follow the simple steps included in your QuickStart self-install pack which will explain how to do it.

Our friends at Yodel will deliver the new Hub 5 to your billing address, on the day you choose, between 8am and 9pm. Make sure you add your mobile number to your details. That way we can text you on the delivery day with all the information you'll need to track your order.

We’ll do our best to keep to your chosen delivery date, but if we do need to change it, we’ll let you know over email.

That's okay, Yodel will try and leave the Hub 5 with one of your neighbours. If they can't, they'll leave a card with details of how to reschedule delivery.

Unfortunately you can't change your delivery date online. But if you aren't in, Yodel will either leave the Hub 5 with a neighbour or leave a card on how to reschedule delivery on a date that works for you.

We'll send you an email confirming your delivery date within 14 days. If there's a delay it just means it's taking us a little longer to process because there's some outstanding activity on your account. 

We'll make sure we sort out your order as quickly as possible, so you can start enjoying speedy, wireless broadband.

That’s fine, choosing to not update to the Hub 5 will not impact your service.

 

The legal stuff

Hub swap: Available to the addressed recipient only, via the link provided. We are upgrading your current broadband kit for a new Hub 5. Your existing Hub will be automatically deactivated six days after the install date for your new Hub 5.

Hub speed: The Hub 5 serves Gig1 Fibre Broadband (average download speeds of 1130Mbps and average upload speeds of 52Mbps). The advertised download and upload speeds for our Virgin Fibre packages are calculated by taking the median average, or the mid-point between the fastest and slowest speeds for each package at peak times (8-10pm), each month. This is in line with the Advertising Standards Authority’s (ASA) guidance.

QuickStart: The Hub 5 is required to be installed through QuickStart and is only available via home delivery. You won’t be charged for home delivery. Engineer visit is not available. During busy periods it could take us longer than 30 days to deliver your new Hub. If we are unable to offer you the delivery date you have chosen, we will book the next available date and advise you via email. In order to activate the Hub 5 please follow the instructions provided.
