More HD channels coming your way.
We know how important HD channels are to our TV customers. That’s why, throughout 2010, we’re bumping up our HD channels. It all kicks off in April with Eurosport HD, so don’t miss sporting greats like the French Open tennis, Tour de France and European Athletics Championships. Find out more about our HD channels.
Remember, unlike Sky, we don’t charge an HD
subscription fee for any of the channels we currently have. All our XL TV customers can enjoy ESPN, FX, National Geographic, MTV, LIVING, Eurosport and the Discovery Channel. Not only that, all Virgin TV customers get the BBC HD channel and Channel 4 HD plus access to HD movies via FilmFlex and PictureBox in Movies On
Demand. All you need is a V+ HD box and an HD-ready TV.
Twice as fast, and getting faster!
We believe it’s important for independent sources to tell us, and you, how we compare to other internet service providers. So when Ofcom (the broadband industry regulator) said that our up to 10Mb broadband was on average twice as fast as other major service providers, we were delighted. That was last year, and since then we’ve increased our lead. Our average download speed is now an even speedier 8.7Mb.
Keeping our customers secure online is always at the top of our list. And because we don’t believe you should have to pay extra to be safe while you’re surfing, all our broadband customers get free PC security as standard.
What’s even better is that we’re upgrading our security package. And we’re even giving it a new name too. Coming soon, Virgin Media Security – the new and improved replacement for PCguard. Watch this space for updates on when you can download the new Virgin Media Security.

From 1st April all our landline phone customers can enjoy free calls to Virgin Mobile phones as part of their package.
