Setting up Outlook Express

We're going to run you through two seperate tasks here, setting up newsgroups for Outlook Express and subscribing to a newsgroup.

Setting up newsgroups in Outlook Express

1. To set up your news account in Outlook Express click Tools, then Accounts
2. Select the News tab. Here you will see any news servers you may already have setup:
   
   
   
3. Select Add and then News:
   
   
   
4. For the display name type your name and then press Next:
   
   
   
5. Type your email address and then press Next:
   
   
   
6. For the news server type news.virginmedia.com as below then press Next:
   
   
   
7. And now Finish:
   
   
   
8. You will now see the new account you have just added. Press Close:
   
   
   
9. You will be presented with the below:
   
   
   
10. Select Yes. This will now download a list of newsgroups that we provide:
11. You have now successfully added a news account to Outlook Express.

Now you can start subscribing, reading and posting to newsgroups.
