Catherine Lynch Appointed Chief People Officer

Virgin Media today announces the appointment of Catherine Lynch as Chief People Officer.

Reporting to CEO Tom Mockridge, Catherine joins the Virgin Media Executive Committee.

Prior to Virgin Media, Catherine was most recently Group HR Director of financial services company Towergate.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Catherine's career has focussed on developing high performing organisations and the HR teams supporting them in brands as diverse as BGL, Barclaycard, Santander, Sainsbury’s and Tesco.

Catherine replaces Maurice Daw who moves into a new role at Virgin Media as Customer Director, London.

In addition to joining the Virgin Media Executive Committee, Catherine also has a functional reporting line to Amy Blair, SVP and Chief People Officer at Liberty Global and will be a member of the Group-wide People Leadership Team.
