Virgin Media gets new TV show for ‘Good Behavior’

30 August 2017

Today, 29 August 2017, Virgin Media announces suspenseful and sexy drama, Good Behavior, as its latest TV exclusive. The TNT original series sees award-winning actress Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey), lead in an exciting new role as one of the toughest, most challenging characters on television.

Good Behavior is a seductive thriller created by Chad Hodge and Blake Crouch based on the books by Crouch. The show also stars Argentine-Spanish actor Juan Diego Botto, Terry Kinney (Oz, Billions) and Lusia Strus (50 First Dates).

The new series consists of 10 one-hour long episodes, with the first six episodes launching on Virgin TV on demand from Monday 11 September, and a new episode released every week thereafter. Virgin TV will also carry the much-anticipated second series on its SVOD service from Monday 16 October, to coincide with the US premiere of the new season.

Good Behavior tells the story of Letty Raines (Dockery), a thief and con artist whose life is always one wrong turn or one bad decision from implosion. Fresh out of prison, Letty tries to stay afloat; reunite with her 10-year-old son who is currently being raised by her mother Estelle (Strus); and show up for the mandatory check-ins with her parole officer Christian (Kinney), who carries his own demons which cause him to relate to Letty in a way that threatens his ability to do his job. Chaos returns to Letty's life when she overhears a hitman (Botto) being hired to kill a man's wife, and sets out to derail the job. She soon finds herself on a collision course with the killer, entangling both of them in a dangerously captivating relationship.

David Bouchier, Chief Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media, said:

> “Our Full House customers will be gripped by this gritty suspense-filled drama, which stars Michelle Dockery as you’ve never seen her before. We’re giving them six binge-worthy episodes followed by one a week after that and series two airing at the same time as the US. Good Behavior, our seventh exclusive series, adds to our bounty of the best, must-watch TV all available in one place the way our customers want it.”

Pierre Branco, Senior Vice President & General Manager UK and Nordic, said:

> “An enthralling series with dark, intriguing and complex characters - Good Behavior is addictive TV at its best. Michelle Dockery gives a captivating performance in the lead role, portraying the multifaceted Letty Raines in a marked departure from Downton’s Lady Mary. We are incredibly proud of this show and excited to be partnering with Virgin to bring it to UK audiences on SVOD for viewers to tune in however and whenever they choose.”

Good Behavior is executive-produced by writer/showrunner Chad Hodge and author Blake Crouch, along with executive producers Marty Adelstein (Aquarius, Prison Break, Teen Wolf) and Becky Clements (Aquarius, Last Man Standing) of Tomorrow Studios, a partnership between ITV Studios and Marty Adelstein. The pilot was directed by Charlotte Sieling.

Good Behavior is Virgin Media’s seventh exclusive UK launch, and follows in the footsteps of hugely successful box sets of Ash vs Evil Dead, Kingdom, Magic City, Billy & Billie, Full Circle and more recently, Imposters. Virgin Media now boasts an exciting library of exclusive programmes – all available for Virgin ‘Full House TV’ (previously known as XL TV) customers at no extra charge.

Good Behavior, along with all Virgin TV Exclusives, are available on demand through the Virgin TV V6 or TiVo boxes as well as on mobile devices through the Virgin TV Anywhere app available on iOS and Android.
