Virgin Media has treated the lucky Clare family to the ultimate TV experience after they became the company’s millionth TV customer with the latest Virgin TV V6 box.
To celebrate the milestone, the company surprised the family with an extra special installation and a host of freebies to help them make the most of their new V6 TV box.
Virgin Media’s engineers treated the family to a free VIP upgrade, gifted them a sleek new TellyTablet with a personal message from Virgin Founder, Richard Branson, upgraded them to their latest Hub 3.0 WiFi router and even found time to do a few chores around the house.
The Virgin Media team went the extra mile to make the millionth installation their best ever. The crack-team of experienced engineers surprised the family with flowers and a special celebration cake. While they were setting up the V6 box, the Virgin Media team found time to get out the hoover and do some light dusting while the family sat back to enjoy a cup of tea.
Miss Clare, the millionth Virgin TV V6 customer, said:
> I couldn’t believe it. Things like this don’t happen to me. Our family really love our V6 box and we had a great morning while the engineers were installing everything – they really went the extra mile.
We’re most excited about watching our favourite sci-fi shows on Netflix and my dad will love the sport – especially the cycling.

As well as providing the latest and greatest TV, Virgin Media will also be supplying ultrafast 300Mbps broadband so the family can make the most of the entertainment they love.
The Virgin Media V6 TV box was released in January 2017 and is Virgin Media’s smallest, smartest and fastest box yet. The 4k UHD-ready box is ten times more powerful than its predecessor and has a range of new features designed to bring together live and on-demand content in one place.
Last week, Virgin Media announced that it is offering existing Virgin TV customers a free upgrade to its V6 box, giving them access to the very best connected entertainment experience alongside ultrafast broadband. Eligible customers will be contacted in the coming weeks with details of how they can request their V6 box in what is one of the largest customer upgrade programmes ever carried out in the UK.
