Virgin Mobile Pay As You Go has ended


What's happening?

We phased out our Pay As You Go service from October 2021 to February 2022. 

We contacted you with the date your SIM would stop working. If you would like to switch to a Pay Monthly Plan or stick with Pay As You Go we have a few options for you – call 0345 600 0789 where our team can help guide you through the switching process.

Good stuff to know

Although our Pay As You Go service has now ended, you can still request a refund for up to a year after your closure, so call us on 0345 600 0789 to discuss this.

We regularly review our offerings to make sure we’re meeting our customers’ needs and usage. After careful review, we’ve decided to close our Pay As You Go services and focus on providing even greater Pay Monthly plans

You have at least 3 months to switch to Pay Monthly or request your PAC, after we have notified you.

No problem. You can request a refund for up to one year after your service ended.

You can switch over to one of our Pay Monthly plans (subject to a credit check), including SIM Only or a handset.

Your Pay As You Go credit will be used to settle your pay monthly bill from the second month’s bill onwards, until your credit value runs out.

If you want to stick with a Pay As You Go plan you can switch to O2.
