Paramount network coming to Virgin TV in HD in UK

Wide range of HD content to be made available to Virgin TV customers

Virgin TV today announced that Paramount Network will be launching in HD for its customers in the UK From Saturday 21st July, Virgin TV will be the only place to watch Paramount Network in high-definition and will be available to all customers on channel 187.

Paramount Network, which first launched in the UK on the 4th July and is operated by Viacom International Media Networks, is the brand new free-to-air UK destination offering premium scripted drama, high quality comedy and movies featuring some of the brightest stars.


The wide ranging portfolio includes the seventh season of SUITS, Marvel’s AGENT CARTER, fantasy drama HEROES REBORN, the Emmy® Award-winning comedy WILL & GRACE, fantasy drama SLEEPY HOLLOW and horror/sci-fi drama THE STRAIN. US comedy series THE MICK, starring Kaitlin Olsen, is set to premiere later this year whilst Kiefer Sutherland’s drama DESIGNATED SURVIVOR will air next year.

Paramount Network is also home to box-office smashes - from WAR OF THE WORLDS, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN and DANCES WITH WOLVES to critically acclaimed and cult classics THE SHINING, THE TALENTED MR RIPLEY and JACKIE BROWN and much loved titles including PRINCE OF TIDES, GROUNDHOG DAY, BEACHES, ROXANNE and UK premiere,RICKI AND THE FLASH.
