The eagerly anticipated rematch between Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin and Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday 15 September will be available to buy on pay-per-view on Virgin TV through BT Sport Box Office HD.

In what is set to be one of the biggest fights of the year, the contest will be the first major event on BT’s new pay-per-view service. Virgin TV customers can now pre-order the fight in high definition (HD) for £16.95.

In the pairs last encounter – also in Las Vegas – Golovkin retained his WBC, WBA and IBF world titles when the contest was called a tie, which caused shockwaves in the boxing world. All three judges scored the fight differently which meant a rematch was inevitable.

Golovkin, 36, boasts a 38-0-1 record including 34 knockouts with his opponent, Canelo, has a 49-1-2 record with 34 Kos and hasn’t lost since his fight with Floyd Mayweather back in 2013, which was settled on the judges’ scorecard.

Other fights on the card include: Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez Vs Mexican Moises "Moi" Fuentes in a 10-round super flyweight battle; David Lemieux Vs Irish fighter Gary "Spike" O'Sullivan in a 12-round middleweight battle and Jaime Munguia will make the second defence of his WBO Junior Middleweight World Title against Canadian Brandon "Bad Boy" Cook in a 12-round battle.

Will the rematch finally see an outright winner between Golovkin and Canelo? Watch live on Virgin TV this Saturday to find out.
