Collaborating with others in our sector: CSR Media Forum

20 January 2015

In 2001 we launched the Media Corporate Social Responsibility Forum together with other businesses in our sector.

The Forum was established in recognition that the practice of CSR and sustainability for media companies has many unique features that sets it apart from traditional industry and other business sectors.

Since its launch the Forum has gone from strength to strength. There are now 24 businesses involved and we meet four times a year to discuss and tackle the biggest challenges that we all face.

This year we delved into; how to keep CSR afloat when scandal hits, diversity, supply chains and data privacy. We also held a big one day workshop that built upon the work the Forum did in 2013 called Mirror or Movers.

At the end of the year the Forum, chaired by Carnstone, produce a report to summarise the year and announce what we'll be focusing next.

Here’s 2014 for you:

We'll be hosting the Forum at our office in Hammersmith in March so stay tuned to find out what the hot topics are!
