How do I watch live events on Virgin TV pay per view?

Fancy watching the big fight as it happens? You can with Virgin Media.

Live Events like pay-per-view boxing or wrestling are available through On Demand on your Virgin TV box.

Virgin TV V6, powered by TiVo

To order a Live Event:

  1. Press Home on the remote
  2. Choose On Demand
  3. Choose Live Events
  4. Press Red to view the available events
  5. Select the event you wish to order
  6. Enter your TV PIN if prompted

Once you've bought it, you can watch the event as soon as it’s started.

To watch your event go to On Demand > Live Events.

To watch an event you've purchased on another Virgin TV box:

  • On a Virgin TV V6 or TiVo box go to On Demand > Live Events
  • On a V+ HD, V HD or V Box go to Live Events > Events Bookings

You'll then be able to watch the event you've purchased.

NOTE: Events in HD are only available on a Virgin TV V6 or TiVo box, and can't be ordered or watched on a V+ HD or V HD box. Some other events may only be available to watch on a Virgin TV V6 or TiVo box, and won't show in Event Bookings on a V+ HD, V HD or V Box.

  • Live Events can normally be ordered up to 5 days before they're shown
  • If you have a V+ HD, V HD or V box, Live Events are shown on Channel 0. If you order it earlier than on the day of the event you'll need to go to this channel to watch it
  • All special events are repeated the next day and some for up to four days at no extra cost
  • If you missed the live transmission, you can purchase the repeat event
  • Your account needs to be up to date to order a Live Event
  • Events in HD are only available on a Virgin TV V6 or TiVo box, and can't be ordered or watched on a V+ HD or V HD box
  • Some other events may only be available to watch on a Virgin TV V6 or TiVo box, and can't be ordered or watched on a V+ HD, V HD or V Box

Sometimes you may see an error message on screen when trying to watch a Live Event.

Before the Event

If you want to view an Event and have seen a message on your TV screen letting you know that we are unable to offer it, there is a technical problem which means we cannot show the Event. If you have already purchased it, don't worry you will not be charged.

During the Event

If you’ve started to view an Event and have seen a message on your TV screen letting you know that we are experiencing technical difficulties, there is a technical problem which is preventing us from showing the Event. The message will automatically disappear if we are able to the resolve the issue and you will be able to continue to view the Event as soon as it's available.


 

TiVo

To order a Live Event:

  1. Press Home on the remote
