Terms and conditions — Christmas ‘Jingle Bills’ giveaway

  1. This Promotion is only open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, excluding anyone professionally associated with this Promotion.

  2. To be eligible for this promotion, you must have a broadband package with Virgin Media, OR a broadband and TV package with Virgin Media with an active direct debit on your Virgin Media billing account. If you have a broadband and TV package with Virgin Media but do not have an active direct debit on your Virgin Media billing account, you will not be eligible for this promotion until you have an active direct debit on your billing account; you will become eligible for the promotion when your direct debit becomes active.

  3. Promotion Period: The promotion will run until 23.59 BST on 2nd January 2024 inclusive.

  4. During the Promotion Period, the prize draw resets every day at 00.00 BST. You may check to see if you are a winner each day after the reset. You may only win a prize once.

  5. How to enter

If you have a broadband and TV package with Virgin Media but do not have an active direct debit on your Virgin Media billing account you must first set one up.

Sign in to your My Virgin Media account and head to ‘billing’ each day. Click on the ‘Win a prize’ button to open the present.

You will know immediately if you are a winner. If you win a prize once, you will not be able to win again.

Virgin Media broadband only customers and Virgin Media broadband and TV customers with an existing subscription to Sky Cinema or Sky Sports will be in with a chance to win:

  • 1 of 1000 £10 vouchers to be used on the Virgin Media Store App

Customers will need a Virgin Media Store account. Registration for the Virgin Media Store is free.

Vouchers won throughout the promotion will be valid until 31st January 2024. Codes are unique, single use, and are generated and displayed only once so customers must take note of their code when shown on the winning page. If a customer does not copy their code when displayed it cannot be retrieved. Customers will need to enter the voucher code on the “Apply a discount using a voucher code” section of checkout page before making their purchase on the Virgin Media Store App.

Virgin Media broadband and TV customers without an existing subscription to Sky Cinema or Sky Sports will be in with a chance to win one of either:

  • 500x 2 months free Sky Cinema
  • 500x 2 months free Sky Sports

If it is won, the prize will be added to the customer’s basket automatically. The customer must go through the full checkout journey to redeem the prize, if the customer removes the prize before checking out, it will no longer be redeemable. The winner may not choose the prize they win, the prize will be randomly allocated from either 2 months free Sky Cinema or 2 months free Sky Sports.

After the 2-months free period, the customer will be charged the standard monthly cost, currently £32* monthly for Sky Sports, or £21* monthly for Sky Cinema unless they choose to cancel. Customers can cancel anytime as long as they give 30 days' notice by calling 0345 454 1111.

  1. The Promoter may cancel, modify or suspend the Prize draw should it not be capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion.

  2. The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason a Prize and/or any element of a Prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute that Prize or element of the Prize for another of equal or greater value.

  3. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Prize Draw or accepting or using the/a Prize(s), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Promotor’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

  4. The Promoter will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances.

  5. If any part/s of these Terms & Conditions are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.

  6. By entering, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

  7. If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and those in any promotional material, these Terms & Conditions will prevail.

  8. This Prize Draw is governed by English Law and participants to the Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
