Up to £150 Switching Credit: Terms and & Conditions
Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions ("Terms").
The Promoter is Virgin Media Limited, 500 Brook Drive, Reading, Berkshire RG2 6UU ("Virgin Media").
Customers that switch from another UK consumer broadband provider to a Virgin Media broadband service will be offered a switching credit worth up to £150 to cover off their early exit fees (the “Offer”).
To be eligible for the Offer, the participant must cancel their existing broadband service and order their new Virgin Media broadband service by 25th June 2025.
Virgin Media services are only available in eligible Virgin Media network areas. All of the Virgin Media products are subject to survey, network capacity and a credit check. Further terms will apply to your Virgin Media service, see https://www.virginmedia.com/legal.
To switch providers, participants will be required to pay their current provider an early termination fee. You will not be eligible for this Offer if your old provider did not charge you an early exit fee. Payments for any amounts showing on the final bill received from your current provider for terminating your contract are your responsibility, the Switching Credit does not form part of any final bill settlement with your current provider. Virgin Media shall not be liable for any outstanding fees connected to your contract termination.
To redeem the Offer, eligible customers must send the following information via email by stating “Switching Credit Offer” in the subject line:
full name and address;
new Virgin Media account number; and
a copy of the final bill from the old provider showing the date of issuing, the customer’s full name, address and the applicable early exit fees.
Additional instructions on where to send us this information will be communicated to you via email. We expect to contact eligible customers within 48 hours of placing an order.
Offer can be redeemed within 4 months of activating your new Virgin Media broadband service. Virgin Media reserves the right to refuse claims submitted outside this period.
You will be notified via email if your claim was successful. Successful claims will be processed within 14 days of being made and the amount of the exit fees up to £150 will be credited to your account.
The switching credit to be applied to your account will be capped at the lower of i) the amount of the early exit fees you were required to pay to your old broadband provider as part of your final bill; and ii) £150.
The Offer is only open to new Virgin Media customers aged 18 or over residents in the United Kingdom but shall not be open to employees of Telefonica UK Limited and/or Virgin Media Limited, their immediate family members and anyone professionally connected with this promotion.
No cash alternative available.
Offer invalidated if you cancel your Virgin Media service before your switching credit is applied to your account.
Virgin Media accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault including without limitation a technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
Customer’s data will be collected, stored and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Virgin Media reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the Offer promotion and/or review and revise these Terms at any time without giving prior notice and by continuing to take part in the promotion subsequent to any revision of these terms, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.
Virgin Media and its agents shall not be responsible or liable to compensate the participant for any loss, damage or consequential damage of any nature in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise caused by acceptance of these Terms and/or in connection with the Offer (to the extent permissible by law).
This promotion is governed by English Law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
