They say if you love what you do then you’ll never work a day in your life, and this couldn’t be truer for Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan. Not only have the pair successfully made the jump from the comedy circuit to primetime telly, writing bestselling books and hosting a podcast or two, but they’ve also tried their hands at some of the most coveted, glamorous and unusual jobs in the world.

From training alongside sporting superstars and penning songs with music legends to performing at world-class events and opening a restaurant with a Michelin-starred chef, there’s nothing that these two chuckle brothers can’t do after seven series and five specials. Or at least, nothing they can’t attempt to do…

They’re back in business for an all-new series of Rob & Romesh Vs and you’re invited along for the ride from 9pm on Tuesday 9 December on Sky Max HD (CH 111). For the show’s eighth instalment, they’re heading on a globetrotting adventure where a whole new world of thrilling challenges awaits them.

Rob & Romesh Vs returns on Tuesday 9 December on Sky Max.

First, the pair touchdown in Mumbai to audition for a Bollywood blockbuster with insider tips from two of the industry’s biggest stars, Ali Fazal and Anupam Kher. Over in New York, it’s a visit to hip-hop mogul and Wu-Tang Clan rapper Raekwon, who prepares them for a nerve-wracking freestyle cypher with some of the scene’s most skilled MCs.

From the concrete jungle to the depths of the Sumatran rainforest, the twosome head off on the hunt for a perfect safari snap that’s worthy of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, before returning to London to break a leg on stage with Martin Freeman and Jessie Buckley in a production of Romeo And Juliet at the world-famous Globe theatre.

Finally, to mark the end of another action-packed series comes a two-part special where the comedy duo try their hands at bobsledding, skiing, curling and biathlon against Team GB ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympics.

There’s never a dull day at the office for Beckett and Ranganathan. In fact, they’ve brought us some of the most memorable TV moments ever since Rob & Romesh Vs first aired in back 2019 with their decades-long friendship, not-so-secret rivalry and endless bickering. Think you’ve got what it takes to keep up with these two? Then take our Rob & Romesh Vs quiz to see how many crazy challenges you can remember from the series so far.
