The time for talk… is drawing to a close. It’s almost time to put away the velvet cloaks and take down Claudia’s castle portrait as the tumultuous series 4 of The Traitors draws to a close in what is sure to be a final worthy of its most dramatic series yet.
It emphatically answered the question “could the show survive without Alan Carr?” by bringing in Fiona, a Welsh agent of chaos who tried to blow the game up. Then there was Harriet, a kamikaze traitor hunter who decided to blow herself up. Plus secret family relationships. Secret couples. A traitor trained by the FBI (lol). It had it all.
Don’t miss a minute of round table action as The Traitors fourth series concludes with a 75-minute episode airing at 8.30pm on Friday 23 January on BBC One HD (CH 101).
But if you’re going to be left staring at your TV screens and wondering how else you’ll fill the massive Traitors hole in your life for the foreseeable, we’re here to help. Whether you love the high-stakes drama, the twisty thrills that keep you on the edge of your seat or simply Claudia Winkleman modelling tweed coats and fingerless gloves, these are the best shows to watch after The Traitors to help fill that big castle-void…

Stream series of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta, Beverly Hills, Cheshire, Jersey, New York City and Orange County in Apps > ITVX now
There's a reason why so many Housewives alumni have been invited to Ardross Castle (Stream The Traitors US seasons 1-3 in Apps > BBC iPlayer now). From Atlanta’s Phaedra Parkes to New York City’s Dorinda Medley, these agents of chaos have mastered the art of being messy and all for our entertainment (although no one has flipped over the round table just yet). If you're looking for more OTT on-screen drama that's packed with snarky confessionals, unsubstantiated accusations and psychological games played between co-stars in the name of “exposing the truth”, then look no further. Warning: You will try to binge an entire franchise in one evening.

Much like The Traitors, your survival depends on the strength of the alliances that you form along the way, and it doesn’t take much to switch sides if it means getting one step closer to that $4.55m prize pot. If you want to take your backstabbing up a notch, then you can immerse yourself in this high-stakes game in real-life by applying to be a contestant on season 3 now.

Stream The Piano series 1-3 in Apps > Channel 4 now. Series 4 coming in 2026
We admit, there’s no art of deception in this Winkleman-fronted series (unless you count those player pianos that you sometimes come across at shopping centres). Instead, it’s a total telly treat that follows the raven-haired maiden and musical judges Mika, Lang Lang and later Jon Batiste, as they search for the UK’s next pianist protégé at train stations across the country. Surprisingly touching stuff that will have you tearing up at the sound of twinkling piano keys, and Claudia is on great form.

Stream Game Of Wool: Britain's Best Knitter series 1 in Apps > Channel 4 now
Anything Winkleman wears inspires at least one sold-out collection and a hundred fashion articles the next day. But now it’s time to bid farewell to tulle and tartan and instead marvel at The Celebrity Traitors’ Tom Daley and his woolly delights in this cosy competition series. While amateur knitters get busy with the needles, the former Olympian brightens up our screens with colourful co-ords, statement knits and even a floor-length asymmetrical shawl fashioned by judge Sheila Greenwell. Will any of the efforts be as good as Jade’s colourful jumper in The Traitors? Also, if you haven’t already, don’t miss Daley’s mini social media series “The Knit Check”. Although we might swerve his self-knitted speedos…

Stream The Celebrity Traitors in Apps > BBC iPlayer now
Possibly the biggest TV series of 2025, The Celebrity Traitors has all the DNA that makes the civilian edition such a hit, but sprinkled with the star power. The spin-off sees the famous folk banish and blunder their way through the Scottish Highlands, resulting in meme-worthy moments (mostly involving the legendary Celia Imrie as she passes gas or wails into a well with impressive accuracy) and the most unlikely Traitor of all time in the form of Alan Carr. All our worries that the famous folk would ruin what we loved about the OG series were unfounded, and now we can’t wait for its sophomore series coming later this year. Maybe it’s time for a rewatch.

Which is why we always cheer the hardest when the Faithfuls manage to snag the prize pot from the naughty Traitors against all odds. The same can be said for the reboot of this iconic Saturday night series, as brave members of the public face up to the almost impossible challenge of taking on the superhuman Gladiators in the arena. Gulp! You’ll be cheering on from the safety of your sofa in no time.
