You gotta love twitter. If it wasn't for this virtual window to their world we'd still be stuck with grainy pap shots that make us feel a bit dirty. We've been busy nit-picking the celebrity twit pics of the last few days - here's the fruits of our labour...
The week began with a pic of what looks like the Girls Aloud gang courtesy of Nicola Roberts. We love the idea of the girls sitting around in tiny PJs drinking strawberry margaritas and painting each other's toes. Okay, so this is probably as close as we'll get to that reality, but it will do for now.

Another triumphant tweet was from the ever-resilient Cheryl Cole who's getting to grips with this whole internet thing nicely. She's gone one better than tweeting smiley faces and actually posted a pic of herself taking a celebratory sip on something tasty before the launch of her shoe collection. With this one tweet she simultaneously revealed that A: She knows how to work a camera phone (clever girl) and B: She has new massive hair which prompted the phrase "hair raising" to be used 1245 times in one day across the national press.

As Girls Aloud demonstrated, Twitter is a good place to tease us mere mortals. The Hoff had us gasping in both horror and delight when he posted this pic of him “proposing” to his girlfriend Hayley Roberts (the one famous for working in Debenhams). As our rumour mill got grinding he soon posted: So we Really aren't engaged but having a great time together! Keep Smilin !! What a twit tease.

Meanwhile The Saturdays Una Healy was tickled by this, ahem, spread praising her behind in a tabloid paper. She simply wrote: "LOL!"

Just what you need to get you in the mood for some bump and grind: A pic of a hat-clad (wait…we think we just got the joke) Olly Murs on the front of your condom packet. Olly proudly tweeted this pic courtesy of his chums JLS who seem to have jokingly mocked up a packet for him. He said: "Here is the pack of condoms @JLSofficial sorted for me!! What legends!! Thanks lads!!"
While we were on his Twitter page we couldn't help notice this other little gem: a young Olly Murs. Bless!

We hear some film called Moneyball is coming out which is exciting as we get to see a bit more of Brad Pitt - he's in it y'see. The film also stars the newly-slender Jonas Hill who, although cute, isn’t a patch on Mr Jolie. Which is why tweeting this pic with his face so close to him was a bad idea.
Most celebs celebrate the release of a hit new album and the prospect of a glistening new pop career with the usual stock pile items: champagne, cake, lap-dancing clubs…not Ed Sheeran. He treated himself to a new Lego set. And then tweeted "Celebrating in finest style!" Now THAT, kids, is rock and roll (or just fishing for a Lego sponsorship?).
