Sport to watch this week

Pick of the week

Football: Premier League – Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal
Sunday 22 February, 4pm, Sky Sports Premier League HD (CH 502)

The north London derby is always a huge game for players and fans, of course, but factors have made this one extra spicy. Arsenal are still favourites for the title but have dropped points in the past few weeks, making their hold on top spot a little more precarious. Despite their fabulous array of attacking talent, with Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus returning from injury, they’ve had a series of draws plus a home defeat to Man Utd since the start of the year – a run that has put pressure on them to deliver more consistently.

Spurs, meanwhile, tumbled into a months-long spiral of doom with a string of poor performances and results that eventually spelled the end for coach Thomas Frank on 11 February. Igor Tudor has been installed as interim manager and although the Croat has extensive experience around Europe including stints at Lazio, Marseille and Juventus, he’s a newcomer to the Premier League and no one really knows what to expect. Add in a frankly horrifying injury list and the suspension of captain Cristian Romero, and you could understand if fans were trepidatious.

If Spurs can snatch a win – or at least make a contest of it, unlike the 4-1 thrashing they received at the Emirates in November – then Tudor will have a springboard for the rest of the season, not to mention get the fans onside instantly. But with so many missing, they’ll be especially vulnerable to the Gunners’ power tactics at set pieces. It’s going to be a fascinating one. Don’t miss the action, live on Sky Sports.

I Know What You Did Last Summer
Available from Friday 20 February in Sky Cinema on demand. Cert 15

When five friends inadvertently cause a car accident, they agree to keep it a secret and carry on as if nothing happened. But a year later, the incident returns to haunt them as they discover that someone does, indeed, know what they did last summer – and is set on revenge. With gory consequences. Can anyone help? Well, as fans of 1990s horror will know, this has happened before and the group turn to two survivors of the legendary Southport Massacre of 1997. The Outer Limits’ Madelyn Cline and The Little Mermaid’s Jonah Hauer-King lead the cast of this propulsive and high-tension slasher that picks up the original series’ plotline with style.
