The best new Netflix shows and films in June 2026 are something to behold. Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein ignite some very HR-unfriendly chemistry in the summer’s most anticipated romcom, while the UK’s most compelling true-crime drama this year arrives with its companion documentary in tow.
Elsewhere, Harlan Coben finally comes home to America for his first US adaptation, Zoey Deutch delivers a romcom for the ages and Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards bring The Rest Is Football to Netflix daily for the World Cup. There’s also a John Cena buddy comedy and the long-awaited second season of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
If you have Virgin TV 360, our V6 box (powered by TiVo®) or our Stream box, you can watch Netflix through your telly. Netflix is also included in a range of our TV bundles and is available to add to those that don’t include it.

Here’s all you need to know about the best TV show and film releases on Netflix in June 2026…
The Witness
Stream all three episodes from Thursday 4 June in Apps > Netflix
The Witness is Netflix’s limited three-part drama about the 1992 murder of Rachel Nickell on Wimbledon Common. Created by Rob Williams (Suspicion) and directed by Alex Winckler (Mary & George), the series keeps its focus squarely on the human cost to André Hanscombe and his son Alex – who was just two years old when he witnessed his mum’s murder – and the devastating ripple effects of a crime that followed them for decades. Jordan Bolger (This Town) is superb as André, with Kerry Godliman (After Life), Kevin Eldon (Spaced), Neil Maskell (Utopia) and Claire Rushbrook (Rivals) in excellent support. It’s not hyperbole to say this is one of the most anticipated British dramas the streamer has ever commissioned.
The Murder Of Rachel Nickell
Stream it from Thursday 4 June in Apps > Netflix
Arriving on the same day as The Witness, this companion documentary directed and produced by Lucy Bowen provides the full, forensically detailed factual account behind the drama: the wrongful arrest of Colin Stagg, the long-running police failure and the eventual conviction of the real killer 16 years later. Watch it before or after the drama series. Either way, you’ll want to watch both.
Office Romance
)
Stream it from Friday 5 June in Apps > Netflix
Jennifer Lopez (Maid In Manhattan) returns to Netflix in 2026 doing what she does best. Lopez plays Jackie Cruz, the ruthlessly efficient CEO of an airline with a very firm anti-fraternisation policy among her staff. Enter Daniel Blanchflower (Ted Lasso’s Brett Goldstein – yep, Roy Kent himself), the company’s new lawyer, who is instantly smitten with his new boss. Written by Goldstein and Ted Lasso co-creator Joe Kelly, directed by Ol Parker (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again) and featuring Betty Gilpin (The Hunt), Bradley Whitford (The West Wing), Tony Hale (Veep) and Jodie Whittaker (Doctor Who), it has quality throughout.
The Rest Is Football
)
Stream daily episodes from Wednesday 10 June in Apps > Netflix
Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards are bringing the world’s biggest football podcast to Netflix as a daily show for the duration of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with game analysis, special guests, on-the-ground reporting from the England camp and fan zones and all the honesty and laughs that have made the pod one of the most listened-to sports shows on the planet. Thanks to its seven million-plus monthly streams, The Rest Is Football’s move to Netflix has been as hotly anticipated as any big-name summer signing. It’s going to be fascinating to see how it competes against traditional TV during the tournament. And look out for more World Cup-themed content including the film USA 94: Brazil’s Return To Glory.
I Will Find You
Stream all eight episodes from Thursday 18 June in Apps > Netflix
Harlan Coben’s Netflix adaptations made in the UK, France, Poland and Spain have gripped audiences around the world but now, for the first time, he’s coming home for this US version of his bestselling novel. Sam Worthington (Avatar) plays David Burroughs, a man serving life for the murder of his son, who receives evidence the boy may still be alive, and promptly breaks out of prison to find him. A collaboration between Coben and Robert Hull (Quantum Leap), the eight-part limited series also stars Britt Lower (Severance), Milo Ventimiglia (This Is Us), Logan Browning (Dear White People) and Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption). All the usual Coben ingredients are present and correct: family secrets, jaw-dropping reveals and a plot that never goes where you think it’s going.
Voicemails For Isabelle
)
Stream it from Friday 19 June in Apps > Netflix
Zoey Deutch (Set It Up) plays Jill, a grieving young woman who copes with the loss of her sister by continuing to leave chatty, chaotic, confessional updates on her messy life in San Francisco on her sister’s voicemail. What she doesn’t know is that her sister’s number has been reassigned to Wes (Nick Robinson, Love, Simon), an enigmatic real estate agent in Austin who starts listening and then can’t stop. This one’s been compared to You’ve Got Mail and Sleepless In Seattle – the warmest possible endorsement. Nick Offerman (Parks & Recreation), Lukas Gage (The White Lotus), Harry Shum Jr (Everything Everywhere All At Once) and Ciara Bravo (Cherry) also star.
Avatar: The Last Airbender
Stream season 2 from Thursday 25 June in Apps > Netflix. Season 1 also available now
After the first season of the live-action adaptation won over fans and sceptics alike, Aang and Team Avatar are back – and heading into the Earth Kingdom. Having secured a victory at the Northern Water Tribe, the gang sets off to convince the Earth King to join the fight against Fire Lord Ozai, with one very significant new arrival: fan-favourite Toph Beifong, played by Miya Cech. Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, Dallas Liu and Elizabeth Yu all return, along with Daniel Dae Kim (Lost) as Fire Lord Ozai and Paul Sun-Hyung Lee (Kim’s Convenience) as Uncle Iroh. Whether you’re a die-hard fan of the original animated series or a complete newcomer, get on board.
Little Brother
)
Stream it from Friday 26 June in Apps > Netflix
John Cena (The Suicide Squad) is Rudd: a successful, organised, deeply self-satisfied real estate agent with a very nice life. Eric André (Bad Trip) is Marcus: the chaotic, boundary-free man Rudd once mentored through a Big Brother programme. Now, Marcus has reappeared after 20 years and is showing no signs of leaving. What ensues is exactly as unhinged as you’d expect. It’s a reminder that for all Cena’s rippling muscles, it’s probably his comedic muscles that are his most impressive (his personal trainer probably disagrees). In a month of throwback romcoms, this feels like the kind of old-school summer comedy that we haven’t seen in a while.
