Grab your popcorn and take your seats for another round of excellent sofa-based entertainment that’s coming your way on Netflix. This month, Hawkins’s bravest residents are back in animated form for another Upside Down adventure in Stranger Things: Tales From ’85. Schitt’s Creek star Dan Levy returns to screens with his hotly anticipated comedy Big Mistakes, while critically acclaimed anthology series BEEF returns for a second outing.

More returning favourites include Running Point, At Home With The Furys and XO, Kitty, while starry new arrivals include Phoebe Dynevor in shark slasher Thrash, Kevin Hart’s comedy competition series Funny AF and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s thriller Man On Fire.

With his glittering NBA career and marriage into one of the world’s most famous families, on the surface Lamar Odom seemed to have it all. However, at the height of his fame his world came crumbling down when he was found unresponsive at a Nevada brothel and ended up comatose in hospital. Now, this documentary reveals Odom’s road to recovery through his own words, detailing the private struggles and pivotal decisions that led to the life-changing moment that unfolded on the world stage. A must-watch for Kardashian and sport fans alike.

Eat Pray Bark

Eat Pray Bark, coming to Netflix in April.

This eccentric German comedy flick may be debuting on April Fool’s Day but there’s no joking around when it comes to the teachings of enigmatic dog trainer Nodon (Rúrik Gíslason). Eat Pray Bark follows five dog owners to a picturesque dog retreat in the Alps with the aim of training their canine companions. However, thanks to Nodon’s unconventional methods, it soon becomes clear that it’s the two-legged students that need his help the most. Silly and delightful in equal measure.

XO, Kitty

From meeting long-lost relatives to falling for someone she shouldn’t have, it’s been quite the wild ride for Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart) since she started at the Korean Independent School of Seoul. But in the third season of this To All The Boys spin-off, Kitty’s determined to have the perfect senior year experience. Of course, things are rarely straightforward at KISS, and a series of surprise revelations means that this matchmaker’s going to have to learn how to embrace the unexpected.

Everything TV prodigy Dan Levy touches turns into telly gold (remember that time Schitt’s Creek made history at the 2020 Emmy awards?). Now, he’s back as the co-creator of a criminal comedy caper along with award-winning actor and comedian Rachel Sennott (Bottoms). When pastor Nicky (Levy) and his sister Morgan (Taylor Ortega, Another Simple Favour) are blackmailed into operating within the world of organised crime, a chaotic and laugh-out-loud adventure ensues you’ll be bingeing the entire season in one sitting. Laurie Metcalf (Lady Bird) and Jack Innanen (Adults) also feature.

Picture the scene. A Category 5 hurricane slams into your small coastal town with catastrophic consequence. How could things possibly get worse, we hear you ask? Well, with rising flood waters, an onslaught of ravenous sharks swarm your now submerged neighbourhood in pursuit of their next human meal. Eek. Phoebe Dynevor (Bridgerton), Whitney Peak (Gossip Girl) and Djimon Hounsou (Guardians Of The Galaxy) star.

Funny AF With Kevin Hart

Comedy juggernaut Kevin Hart is at the helm of this all-new comedy competition series. Along with a team of comedy titans, Hart travels across the United States in pursuit of the country’s next stand-up star, testing his line-up of up-and-coming funny folk to see if they can cope with real-life industry challenges from brutal open mics and bad sets to last-minute rewrites and the pressures of big-stage performances. The best part? You can watch the winner be crowned in the live finale on 5 May.

At Home With The Furys

At Home With The Furys, plus Tyson Fury’s upcoming heavyweight bout, coming to Netflix in April.

There’s never a quiet day in the Fury household and the second series of their hit reality show follows the clan as they face new challenges and triumphs. Now, BEEF is back for a second chapter with an all-new cast and a fresh conflict, as a young Gen Z couple become entangled in the unravelling of their millennial boss’s marriage. However, their blossoming friendship quickly festers into a passive-aggressive rivalry with hilarious consequences. Now that we’ve caught you up on the first season of Mindy Kaling and co’s chuckle-worthy comedy, get your head back in the game as a newly single Isla (Kate Hudson, Song Sung Blue) navigates power struggles, love triangles and more both on and off the court. Justin Theroux (Fallout), Brenda Song (Changeland), Scott MacArthur (The Mick), Drew Tarver (The Other Two) and Fabrizio Guido (Mr Iglesias) all return while US sitcom legend Ray Romano joins the roster.

When a rock climber (Theron) embarks on a solo adventure in the Australian wilderness, she unwittingly catches the attention of a dangerous killer and finds herself fighting for survival in a deadly game of cat and mouse. Man On Fire

From creator Kyle Killen (Halo, Lone Star), this take on AJ Quinnell’s Marcus Creasy novels promises to be one of the most exciting adaptations of the year. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Marvel Television’s Wonder Man) is Creasy, once a force to be reckoned with as a Special Forces-trained mercenary who had a reputation for surviving even the most desolate situations. Now a shadow of his former self and battling PTSD, Creasy is on a mission to turn over a new leaf and overcome his personal demons once and for all (but not before embarking on a violent campaign of vengeance, of course).

How to watch Netflix with Virgin TV

If you have our 360 or Stream box, there are four ways to navigate to the Netflix app:

1. Use your voice
A. Just press and hold the voice button and say “Netflix” to open the app.

2. Via the app section
A. Press Home.
B. Go to the right and select Apps.
C. Select Netflix in the Apps screen.

3. Via channel 204 if you have our 360 box
A. Tuning to this channel automatically launches Netflix.

4. Navigating down to the Netflix icon in the homepage if you have our Stream box

To search for Netflix content on our 360 and Stream boxes, select the Search icon from any full screen menu. Enter your Search term using the on-screen keyboard. Press back and then right to highlight the “All” filter. Press OK and select Netflix. You can now view and select from the Netflix results for your search term.
