Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026

The Olympic Winter Games on TNT Sports this month.

This event has already been a fantastic celebration of the top level of winter sports (even if the joy was slightly dampened among British fans by some GB contenders falling short, with multiple disappointing fourth places). But the final few days of the Winter Olympics should be among the very best, with finals in biathlon, bobsleigh and freestyle skiing among others, as well as women’s and men’s gold medal match-ups in ice hockey, with some fiery international duels. (Heated rivalries, one might say.)

Don’t miss the curling medal matches on 20, 21 and 22 February, which could bring more GB success. And, of course, there’s the spectacle of the closing ceremony, which is being staged not in Milan or Cortina but at the Verona Arena, with the theme Beauty In Action. TNT Sports has it all, across six TV channels including two pop-ups, so you won’t miss a minute.

Football: Premier League

Premier League action on TNT Sports this month.

There’s another midweek round of Prem action on TNT Sports this month, when the likes of Brighton and Nottingham Forest will be fighting to pick up the points that would help them pull away from the bottom three. Their opponents? Arsenal and Man City respectively. So no problems there…

One of the most interesting games of the round is Leeds against Sunderland, a clash between two sides defying expectations after two successive seasons in which all the promoted clubs were immediately relegated. Régis Le Bris’s Mackems gained accolades for their great start while Leeds were slower off the mark, but both have excellent home records and, going into the final stretch of the season, only a few points separate them. With Elland Road as unwelcoming to visiting teams as ever, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin having his best scoring season for years, it’s going to be tough for Sunderland.

Elsewhere this month, Newcastle face both Manchester clubs, there’s a European-place battle between Aston Villa and Chelsea, and Spurs and Palace face off in a kind of misery derby – could it, against all odds, turn out to be an exuberant outpouring of footballing joy? You’ll never know unless you watch it. Follow the Premier League twists and turns on TNT Sports.

Football: UEFA Champions League

After a collectively phenomenal performance from the English clubs that saw Arsenal, Liverpool Spurs, Chelsea and Man City sail straight into the last 16, Newcastle are the only Premier League representatives in action in the Champions League this February, as they take the long trip to Azerbaijan to face Qarabag, who beat Benfica and Eintracht Frankfurt and drew with Chelsea to reach this stage.

Elsewhere, the English clubs’ success means big names like Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, Inter and holders PSG are all in play-off action too, and then there’s barely time to draw breath before the next round begins on 10 March. Don’t miss the thrilling Champions League action on TNT Sports.

Football: UEFA Europa League

UEFA Europa League action on TNT Sports this month.

Aston Villa are through, Rangers are out, but the two other British sides in this season’s Europa League face play-offs to reach the round of 16. Progressing this far didn’t save Forest coach Sean Dyche, who paid the price for poor league form, and now his former charges will face Fenerbahçe under Vítor Pereira. Striker Igor Jesus is among the leading scorers in this season’s competition, averaging a goal every 54 minutes. A trip to Türkiye is never easy, so it’ll be a relief for Forest to know the second leg is at the City Ground.

No such good fortune for Celtic, who must travel to Germany for their second leg and deal with the hostile atmosphere in Stuttgart’s 60,000-capacity MHP Arena. Their opponents are having a good season too, firmly in the upper reaches of the Bundesliga as well as in the semis of the DFB-Pokal (the German Cup). Perhaps the Bhoys will take inspiration from Rangers, who beat Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig on their way to the Europa League final in 2022. Or perhaps they’d rather not.

Football: UEFA Conference League

It’s been a turbulent season for Crystal Palace, who were in the Premier League top four in December but have been in dreadful form since. That FA Cup triumph must now seem a distant memory for fans. However, they’ve still got the chance of European glory in the Conference League, with home advantage in the second leg of their knockout tie against Zrinjski Mostar of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Win this and they’ll face Mainz or AEK Larnaca (who nabbed a shock 1-0 win at Selhurst Park in the league phase) in the round of 16. Palace’s January signing Jacob Strand Larsen scored twice on his second start for the Eagles – they’ll want more of that, please. See both legs live on TNT Sports.

Football: FA Cup Round 5

The live TV games haven’t been announced at the time of writing, but we’re 100% sure that you’ll be able to watch giant-killers Mansfield Town of League One, who won at Premier League Burnley in the previous round, against table-toppers Arsenal live on TNT Sports. It’s a perfect set-up for a cup upset with the Gunners’ international stars travelling to the Stags’ Field Mill ground, although they will undoubtedly offer a tougher challenge than Burnley.

The other tie that brings plenty of intrigue is Wrexham v Chelsea, when the Welsh club’s famous owners – and quite possibly some celebrity pals – will presumably be in attendance. More importantly, Wrexham’s excellent form has taken them into the Championship play-off places and they’ll relish the opportunity to test themselves against Premier League opposition. The other fifth-round ties include Newcastle v Man City and Wolves v Liverpool. Don’t miss the FA Cup action on the first weekend of March.

Football: Women’s FA Cup Round 5

Women’s FA Cup Round 5 action on TNT Sports this month.

There were certainly some eye-catching ties drawn for the fifth round of this season’s Women’s FA Cup. A Merseyside derby for one, and with Liverpool finally turning their form around after a dismal start to the WSL season, Everton won’t feel as confident going to the BrewDog (formerly Totally Wicked) Stadium as they might have a couple of months ago. Birmingham City, a top-flight team just four years ago and among the contenders for promotion from WSL2 this season, host fourth-tier Chatham Town: the Kent side, making their first ever appearance in the fifth round, are the lowest-ranked team remaining in the draw.

But there’s no doubt as to the biggest match, as Chelsea host Manchester United in a repeat of last season’s final. That showpiece game was a comfortable win for the London side but with the Blues’ form as erratic as it’s been for literally years, United will travel south with genuine aspirations to reach the quarter-finals. Watch four live games from this round over one cracking weekend of FA Cup action on TNT Sports.

Football: Serie A

Inter will be confident of adding three more points to their bid for the scudetto when they visit struggling Lecce on 21 February, a match you can watch on TNT Sports, but it’s the following day’s live game that catches our eye. Cremonese have given us one of the Serie A season’s best stories: promoted through the play-offs, they got off to an absolute flyer with just one defeat in their first nine games, and were third in the table at one stage. Their star man? Leicester City legend Jamie Vardy, now 39, who moved to Italy when his Leicester contract expired and was such a hit in Cremona that he won Serie A’s player of the month award in November.

Sadly, it didn’t last, and a series of defeats including a chastening 5-0 loss to Juventus sent the grigiorossi tumbling down the table. They now face a fight against relegation, so anything they can get from a tricky match away at Europe-chasing Roma would be a big step towards survival. The following week, TNT Sports is live from the Stadio Olimpico again as Roma face Juve.

Football: Men’s A-League

Newcastle’s first 10 games of the 2025/26 season: six defeats, four wins. Newcastle’s next six games: six wins – an incredible run that began with a 3-1 victory at title rivals Auckland, included five goals from Clayton Taylor (with a hat-trick away at Adelaide United) and made them the first team to qualify for AFC continental competition next season. Now the focus is on securing a spot in the A-League finals and, ideally, topping the ladder at the season’s end – something the Jets have never done, even when they won the title back in 2008.

With Taylor, Lachlan Rose and Lachlan Bayliss all hitting form at the right time, it’s looking good for Mark Milligan’s side. Watch them at home to Macarthur and away to Central Coast this month, among TNT Sports’ extensive live coverage of the Men’s A-League.

Football: Women’s A-League

Western Sydney Wanderers are also having an odd season: although they’re struggling near the bottom of the ladder, at the time of writing they have the second best away record in the A-League, having gained 12 of their 15 points away from the Marconi Stadium – and three of those wins have come since mid-January, lifting the Wander Women out of last place (where they finished last season).

The good news for WSW fans watching them on TNT Sports is that their next live game is also on the road; the bad news is that it’s at Canberra United, who are fighting over top spot with Melbourne City, Wellington and Adelaide. Can they pull off another impressive result and climb further away from the basement? They’ll need to find goals – no player scored more than two in the season’s first 15 matches.

Rugby Union: Premiership Women’s Rugby

Premiership Women’s Rugby action on TNT Sports this month.

Gloucester-Hartpury wasted no time returning to the summit of the Premiership table after the winter break, crushing first Loughborough 45-26 – with a hat-trick of tries from Wales back Nel Metcalfe – and then Sale 22-7. Saracens are their closest title rivals this season, a point they underlined with a relentless 81-0 victory over a hapless Leicester at the start of February. So the showdown between the two at the StoneX Stadium on 15 March could be one for the ages. The good news? It’s live on TNT Sports so you don’t have to miss a moment of this crunch game, featuring some of the world’s best players including World Cup winners May Campbell, Jess Breach, Emma Sing and Jade Shekells.

Rugby Union: PREM Rugby Cup

The PREM may be on a break but the PREM Cup is reaching its crucial stages, with the final on 15 March, live on TNT Sports. A home win over Sale would see Gloucester qualify for the semi-final, and let’s hope the game is as thrilling as the 29-28 victory they achieved when they visited the Sharks earlier in the competition. In Pool B, it’s Leicester who are leading the way, and TNT Sports will bring you the crucial fixtures from the final round of pool games as well as the knockout stages in the month ahead.

Cricket: Internationals

International cricket action on TNT Sports this month.

Two of cricket’s big three nations face off in an all-format women’s series this month and you can watch it live on TNT Sports. Australia and India will contest T20 and ODI games as well as a Test match, and whichever side emerges victorious will be more than justified in calling themselves the world’s best women’s cricket team. The Australian squad is packed with awesome talent including Alyssa Healy, Ellyse Perry and Beth Mooney, and they top the rankings in both white-ball formats. But it’s India who are World Cup holders and, led by the wily Harmanpreet Kaur and with the supremely talented Smriti Mandhana in their batting line-up, they’re capable of producing winning performances on Australian soil.

Zimbabwe’s women are touring New Zealand in the coming month too, and in March there’s a series of men’s and women’s double-headers in NZ, when South Africa are the visitors. Don’t miss the top-class action from the southern hemisphere.

Motorsport: MotoGP

MotoGP action on TNT Sports this month.

Get ready for another fraternal fight in the new MotoGP season, as Spanish brothers Marc and Álex Márquez return to the grid and start the 2026 campaign among the favourites. In truth, last season wasn’t much of a battle: Álex won three MotoGPs to Marc’s 11, and the older sibling was able to miss the final four races of 2025 and still claim the title by almost 80 points. If Álex wasn’t already keen enough to get one over on his big bro, that convincing defeat will do it.

There’s a new, yet familiar, name in this year’s rider line-up: Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, who has dominated World Superbikes recently with three championships in five years, joins the Pramac team where he’ll be intending to make a big impact. The first race of 2026 is at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand, and like the rest of the season, it’s live on TNT Sports.

World Superbikes is missing two of its biggest names now that Toprak Razgatlıoğlu has moved on to MotoGP and six-time title winner Jonathan Rea has retired – but it’s a huge opportunity for the rest of the field. Ducati’s Nicolò Bulega pushed Razgatlıoğlu hard last season but despite a remarkable finishing stretch, with six wins in the final eight races, he couldn’t quite catch the incredible Turkish rider. This could be the Italian’s year, although his compatriots Danilo Petrucci and Andrea Locatelli will also fancy their chances, as will the British twins Sam and Alex Lowes. The 2026 high-speed two-wheeled action begins on Phillip Island, near Melbourne.

Motorsport: Rallying + Touring

After an incredible run in the 2025 Supercars finals series, where he finished in the first two places in six out of seven races, Chaz Mostert begins the 2026 season as defending drivers’ champion in the Antipodean touring car competition. Will Brown and Broc Feeney drove Triple Eight to the teams’ title, but both will be gunning for that individual crown in the new campaign as it gets under way at Sydney’s Motorsport Park, before moving on to Albert Park in Melbourne.

In the World Rally Championship, it was the Swedish-British team of Oliver Solberg and Elliott Edmondson who took a surprise victory in the opening event of 2026 in Monaco, battling through tricky conditions to claim the win in what was the pair’s first full race at this level. Britain’s Elfyn Evans and Scott Martin finished second, and they’ll be determined to ensure we’re not still saying that come the end of the season, having now been WRC runners-up five times. Keep up with the rallying and touring action this month on TNT Sports.

MMA: UFC

There’s no official championship on the line at UFC 326, but Max Holloway will be defending the decidedly unofficial BMF belt (it stands for “baddest mucky funster”, of course), which he won when he defeated Dustin Poirier at UFC 318. Having stepped up from featherweight, Holloway is now a big deal in the lightweight division and if he sees off Charles Oliveira in Vegas, as he did in their previous meeting all the way back in 2015, he’ll be a step closer to claiming that championship.

The previous week, the UFC is in Mexico City where home favourite Brandon Moreno will fight British flyweight hopeful Lone’er Kavanagh in a headline bout. It’ll be the Londoner’s fifth UFC fight and he’ll be aiming to bounce back from his defeat against Charles Johnson last time out. Enjoy all the UFC action on TNT Sports.

The superbly named Elvis Smylie of the all-Australian Ripper GC team won the first event of this season’s LIV Golf League, and he and his team-mates will aim to be in contention as the Pacific Rim leg of the tour continues in Hong Kong and Singapore. Ripper captain Cameron Smith, the 2022 Open champion, was involved in a play-off in Hong Kong two years ago but lost out to Joaquín Niemann. In fact, Smith hasn’t won an event on this tour since mid-2023, so this would be a great time to put that right. Catch all the action from the LIV Golf League live on TNT Sports.

Snooker

Snooker action on TNT Sports this month.

You won’t find a more Welsh venue than, er, Venue Cymru in Llandudno, which makes it the perfect setting for snooker’s Welsh Open. Mark Williams, Wales’s greatest ever player, is still going strong at 50 and ranks among the favourites, while his countryman Jak Jones – seeded 16 – will be aiming for the quarter-finals at least.

Mark Selby is the defending champ, but we’re most excited to see 15-year-old Polish phenom Michał Szubarczyk, who’s been making waves since his pro debut since last year: he beat Jimmy White in the 2025 World Championship qualifying rounds and stormed through the qualifiers for this one. The Luke Littler of snooker faces Neil Robertson in the first round. Could he make a splash against the Aussie legend? Next it’s on to Yushan, China, for the World Open.
