If you love watching thrilling live sport on TNT Sports, there’s now another way to tune in. From Thursday 26 March, TNT Sports will be available to watch on the HBO Max App to all subscribers, and it’s even easier if you watch on our Virgin TV 360 or Stream box because the HBO Max App will be available via the box – giving you even more flexibility in how you enjoy your favourite sporting action.
The good news is that if you already subscribe to TNT Sports on Virgin TV, you’ll be able to access all your favourite sport on HBO Max at no extra cost. Accessing it is simple: Virgin Media will send you an activation email, you click the link and follow the steps to activate your entitlement to HBO Max App, and you’ll be able to start streaming. No additional cost, no fuss.
Nothing about your existing TNT Sports experience on Virgin TV is changing. All the TNT Sports channels you know and love will continue exactly as they are on our Virgin TV box, so you can still watch all the action live through your telly. And if you prefer streaming on the go, TNT Sports will also remain available through Virgin TV Go.
What it really means is simple: more ways to watch the sport you already love.
And there’s plenty of it coming your way. TNT Sports coverage this year includes huge competitions from across the sporting world, with this season’s UEFA Champions League matches and every UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League match exclusively live, alongside exclusive Premier League matches plus the Emirates FA Cup and Adobe Women’s FA Cup.
You’ll also find Gallagher PREM and Premiership Women’s Rugby, MotoGP, LIV Golf, UFC, cricket, Grand Tour cycling, snooker, Australian Open and Roland-Garros tennis, the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games from 2028 to 2032 – all available on TNT Sports 1, TNT Sports 2, TNT Sports 3 and TNT Sports 4 and on the HBO Max App.
The launch of HBO Max doesn’t change your TNT Sports subscription on Virgin TV, but it does give you another place you can watch all the action if you want to.
If you decide you’d also like access to the wider HBO Max entertainment library – including hit TV shows like The Pitt and its huge array of films like Superman or the Harry Potter franchise – you can subscribe to that separately within the HBO Max App with an HBO Max Entertainment plan.
How do I watch TNT Sports through HBO Max via Virgin TV?
Customers with Virgin TV 360 or our Stream box can find the HBO Max app in the Apps section of their home screen. From there, navigate to the HBO Max app and launch it to activate your entitlement by following the on-screen instructions.
If you watch TV on our V6 or TiVo® box, you won’t be able to access the HBO Max app. But if you already subscribe to TNT Sports on Virgin TV, all your live TNT Sports channels will be available as usual in the TV Guide on compatible devices. They are:
TNT Sports 1 (CH 521)
TNT Sports 2 (CH 522)
TNT Sports 3 (CH 523)
TNT Sports 4 (CH 524)
TNT Sports Ultimate (CH 525)
You will also still be able to stream TNT Sports on the go using the Virgin TV Go app.
