Lily Allen gives birth

Lily Allen has given birth to a baby girl.

The Not Fair hitmaker and husband Sam Cooper are believed to have welcomed their first child into the world today (25.11.11), though her spokesperson declined to comment.

However, a friend told the Mail Online website that the birth had been 'all good', while Lily's former boyfriend Seb Chew tweeted: 'sending out love to lily, sam and mini cooper......YES.(sic)'

Earlier today, Lily took to her page on the social networking website to simply write: 'Totes amaze (sic)'

The news comes just over a year after the 26-year-old star lost the couple's baby six months into her pregnancy.

The singer - who also suffered a miscarriage in January 2008 - and Sam married in June, and the pair broke the news they were expecting a baby at the wedding reception.

A source said at the time: 'There were tears all around. This is the happiest day of Lily and Sam's lives and they are so in love. This is the icing on the wedding cake!'
