Scientists have discovered the world's biggest web spinning spider in Africa and Madagascar.
Female giant orb spiders grow up to 4 inches in length and spin webs that exceed three feet (one metre) in diameter.
While the giant orb isn't dangerous to humans, it is capable of eating birds, bats and lizards found caught in its web.
