Virgin Galactic and Richard Branson are to unveil WhiteKnight Two 'mothership' to the public

White Knight Two (WK2) is the mothership that will carry SpaceShip Two - the passenger vehicle for high-spending space tourists - into orbit. WK2 is claimed to be "environmentally benign" and as early as 2009, 'astronauts' will be able to go on a 2-hour trip into space including 5 mins of weightlessness as part of Branson's space tourism programme.
