What a weekend of football it was; 10 games, 30 goals, 2 red cards, Mourinho sent to the stands, Liverpool can’t stop scoring, Man Utd had 37 shots without scoring, Sunderland still can’t win, Gaston Ramirez provided a Goal of the Season contender. *wipes brow*

Did we miss anything? Here’s our Team of the Week, started with Burnley’s man of the moment.

 

Goalkeeper: Tom Heaton (Burnley)

Heaton made seven saves in Burnley's 0-0 draw with Manchester United - more than any other goalkeeper over the weekend.

 

Right-back: Kyle Walker (Tottenham)

Walker won the most tackles (3), made the joint-most interceptions (3), and created the joint-second most chances (3) of any Spurs player against Leicester.

 

Centre-back: Cesar Azpilicueta (Chelsea)

Azpilicueta won seven tackles - three more than any other defender over the weekend.

 

Centre-back: Michael Keane (Burnley)

Keane made the second-most clearances (13) of any player over the weekend and won the second-most aerial duels of any player (6).

 

Left-back: Marcos Alonso (Chelsea)

Alonso won all seven aerial duels he attempted - the most of any player over the weekend.

 

Centre-midfield: Ilkay Gundogan (Manchester City)

Gundogan scored with both his shots on target, registered one assist and misplaced just five passes against West Brom.

 

Centre-midfield: N'Golo Kante (Chelsea)

Kante made seven interceptions - the joint-most of any player in the Premier League and five more than any other Chelsea player.

 

Left-midfield: Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

Hazard scored with his only shot on target and created five chances vs Southampton - three more than any other Chelsea player.

 

Right-midfield: Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool)

Coutinho created four chances and assisted two goals this weekend, more than any other player.


Striker: Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal)

Sanchez scored with both his shots on target and completed five take-ons vs Sunderland - three more than any other Arsenal player.

 

Striker: Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)

Aguero scored with both his shots on target and completed eight take-ons vs West Brom - two more than any other player over the weekend.
