The lowdown:
The most expensive console on the market but also the most powerful - although most of its potential remains untapped for now. The old £349.99 model is actually better value than the cheaper £299.99 one as it has a bigger hard drive, more USB ports and is backwards compatible with the PlayStation 2. It's being discontinued though so it'll be increasingly hard to find this Christmas.
