Spore

Hype doesn't come any bigger than this. Those in the know are hailing this as the game to change gaming forever. Difficult to summarise, but basically you start as a microbe, develop your species, evolve to your planet's conditions, then master space travel and colonise another planet. With every online player having their own planet, it's a big old universe out there!
