Model and lingerie designer Elle ‘the body’ Macpherson has had it all. A Swiss millionaire financier husband, a to-die-for lifestyle in a Grade II listed Victorian house in Notting Hill, London, and the adulation of millions.
But in 2006 reality kicked in when the couple split and since then she’s yearned to move back to her home country, Australia, to enjoy a simpler and ‘less cosmopolitan’ setting. The tricky bit is how to offload her seven-storey, six-bedroom London home during a recession.
