There have been some notorious bank heists over time, from the infamous great train robbery of 1963 to a £75 million gem heist in 2009.
We take a look at some of history's biggest heists, most of which are the stuff great movies are made of.
The Bond Street Graff robbery - the biggest UK heist to date.
When: 6th August 2009, London
How much was stolen: £4 million worth of jewels and watches.
Five armed robbers managed to escape with 43 rings, bracelets, necklaces and watches. They entered the prestigious appointment only Graff's in New Bond Street, firing shots and making a well planned getaway.
The robbery was reported a week later as insurance loss adjustors didn't want to reveal anything that might encourage other robbers.
