Aston Martin has been crowned Britain’s coolest brand, for the third year in a row. The poll was conducted by CoolBrands and The Centre for Brand Analysis. Through them, a council of experts and a massive public vote found James Bond’s favourite car manufacturer to be the coolest brand in the country, from over 500 contenders from all walks of life. Speaking at the announcement of the list, Chairman of the CoolBrands council, Stephen Cheliotis, said of Aston Martin, ‘The brand is indelibly linked with James Bond because of the past success of the films. And the recent [film] has seen 007 come back cooler than ever before’. The other motoring manufacturers to make the top 20 were Ferrari (13), Ducati (14) and Lamborghini (20). ‘’There is one unifying key to all of the brands at the top of the CoolBrands top 500,’ said Cheliotis. ‘They’re all brands that have consistently innovated, refused to stand still and are at the top of their game.’
