Citroen SUV Launch

Citroen's first proper SUV is to make its World Show debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

The four-wheel drive C-Crosser will then go on sale in Europe later this summer.

The car has a five plus two seating arrangement, a strong diesel engine, plus it is expected to be very competitively priced.

Citroen's new generation 156bhp 2.2HDi engine has plenty of torque, can manage in excess of 40mpg, and is mated to a six-speed gearbox.

Drivers can switch between two-wheel drive, electronically controlled four-wheel drive and a lock setting for low-grip conditions.

Peugeot is expected to launch its own version of the C-Crosser at the same time.
