London Film Festival: Best of 2011
David Cronenberg's psychological drama A Dangerous Method represents a meeting of minds, telling the story of how big thinkers Viggo Mortensen's Sigmund Freud and Michael Fassbender's Carl Jung gave birth to psycho-analysis. If all that sounds a bit drab (c'mon, broaden your minds!) then there's also test subject Keira Knightley to contend with, who comes between both men and turns out to be fond of the odd spank-a-thon. Cronenberg rarely puts a foot wrong: expect it to equal A History Of Violence and Eastern Promises.
