Fortunately for everyone concerned, Ewan McGregor chose not to pursue the method acting route for the infamous 'Worst Toilet in Scotland' scene in Trainspotting. In fact, the faecal matter splattered everywhere was made out of chocolate and smelled rather lovely. No wonder Renton was so willing to dive down the U-bend.
