Vin Diesel - The Pacifier (2005)

Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel changed pace with this childcare comedy that saw the bald beefcake take on the role of babysitter. Diesel plays Shane Wolfe, a disgraced Navy SEAL officer who undertakes a mission to protect the children of a murdered government scientist. Diesel manages to grunt his way through a likeable script but it's cringeworthy to watch the man who is Riddick get comically bitten by a duck. At different times during casting, both Dwayne Johnson and Jackie Chan were attached to star in this tough-guy-turns-softie movie, which should have been enough to warn Diesel off the project.
