Tommy Lee Jones - Man Of The House (2005)

Tommy Lee Jones stars as a Texas Ranger charged with protecting a bevy of cheerleaders. Who knows what attracted him to the role? Jones doesn't stray too far from his usual 'hardened man of experience' role in this family film but he softens up while protecting the girls in his care and even has a romantic subplot (although not with one of the cheerleaders). Not wanting to give up the tough guy image easily though, Jones insisted on using his own Colt pistol instead of the prop he was given - although this may have just been to impress the ladies.
