Blockbusters don't come bigger, wetter or dumber than Battleship. Based - very loosely - on the ancient boardgame that's currently gathering dust in your attic, this whizz-bang Hollywood adaptation sees Taylor Kitsch's no-hoper join the Navy in attempt to straighten himself out. Wouldn't you know it: on his first naval exercises, his fleet comes into contact with an alien craft, and all Hell breaks loose via some extremely impressive special effects. Rihanna and Liam Neeson are on deck to provide support (one is more watchable than the other - try to guess which).
