Spider-Man has his new nemesis, and he's Welsh. Rhys Ifans, star of Notting Hill, The Boat That Rocked and Greenberg, will star opposite Andrew Garfield's web-slinger as The Lizard. Otherwise known as Dr Curt Connors, he's Peter Parker's college professor; the character actually appeared in the previous Spider-Man franchise and was played by Dylan Walsh, but never metamorphosed into his amphibian alter-ego - Ifans' scaly foe surely will.
