Sending up the Bond-like tradition, Dr Evil places Austin Powers in "an easily escapable situation involving an overly elaborate and exotic death". Thanks to the endangered species list, however, the tank full of sharks with frickin' laser beams had to be replaced with a tank full of ill-tempered sea bass. Still, with Dr Evil closing the doors, much to the protest of his son Scott, he can safely assume that his nemesis will die, right?
