She may be a Hollywood beauty and have starred in some of the coolest films in recent years (Pulp Fiction and the Kill Bills for starters) but that doesn't stop her being prepared to get deep down and honest with some of our not particularly taxing questions.
VM: Hi Uma. Which three movies do you regret doing most?
Uma: I'm not sure I regret any. There was The Avengers, which didn't work for anybody, but even films like Batman & Robin, I loved playing Poison Ivy. I try and not regret any experience, every film you do teaches you something and broadens yours experience. The film that changed my life was probably the first film I shot, Kiss Daddy Goodnight, which never got a release!
VM: OK, so what is your most embarrassing experience?
Uma: I have been voted Worst Dressed! It was the 2004 Oscars and I was wearing a Lacroix dress. I thought it was kinda cool, but apparently it wasn't. I think that a lot of times they give the worst dressed awards to people wearing designers who aren't advertising!
VM: That seems a bit harsh. So what is the silliest thing you have ever bought?
Uma: That's really hard. Someone asked me recently the last three things I bought on my credit card and I couldn't remember. I forgot everything - I forgot my own phone number the other day!
VM: Thank you for taking the time to chat to us Uma. Take care.
