A generation of boys wet their collective Y-fronts as an orchestra blares perhaps the greatest movies score known to humanity and the camera pans from the rapidly receding titles to a vista of planets and stars. This would be enough; but there's the small matter of this scene being transformed into the greatest chase sequence in cinema history. A blockade runner swoops past the camera, guns blazing, and is followed seconds later by the massive shape of a Star Destroyer. It's so brilliant that we need a little lie down now.
