The Transformers star, 21 year-old Shia LeBeouf, was arrested at around 2.25am on Sunday morning in a drugstore in Chicago.
Police were called to the Walgreens drugstore by a security guard after he had asked the former Disney Channel regular numerous times to leave the store because he appeared to be drunk.
His court date is set for the 28th November 2007.
LeBeouf has had a busy and successful year having appeared in many movies, other than Transformers, such as Disturbia and Surf's Up.
He is also currently filming the fourth Indiana Jones movie, Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull, alongside Harrison Ford and Ray Windstone, which is out on 22nd May 2008.
