The Godfather Part II made an offer we couldn't refuse, and Blazing Saddles parped into cinemas - can you guess what year it was?

It's 1974, of course! And what a year it was for film! The greatest sequel ever, The Godfather Part II, was released this year and immediately became part of Hollywood legend. Meanwhile, The Towering Inferno kept us teetering on the edge of our seat, Blazing Saddles was providing the laughs and Jack Nicholson was taking us on a tour of Chinatown. This year also saw the birth of future Hollywood heart-throbs, Christian Bale, Leonardo DiCaprio and Penelope Cruz. What a year!
