Primal Scream
Having spent the last couple of years flogging the 20th anniversary (and more) of their seminal Screamadelica album – and losing bassist Mani to his former band The Stone Roses along the way – debauched Scots rockers Primal Scream are poised to release their first new album since 2008's Beautiful Future.... Well, producer David Holmes has spilled the beans. "the new primal scream album is sequenced and mastered," he revealed on his Facebook page on Friday (11 January). "…its called "more light" and will be released in may...one love!
