It's been two years since Oasis split when Noel walked out after yet another barney with brother Liam. Soon after, the remaining members announced they were soldiering on as Beady Eye while Noel went to ground. Now that the elder Gallagher has resurfaced with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and an eponymous album (out 17 October) it's time to assess fortunes.
