The fresh-faced Chesney Hawkes spent five weeks at number one in 1991 with his ironically-titled, Nik Kershaw-penned sole hit. He was so ashamed of the song that when he appeared on Top of the Pops with James, who were number two with Sit Down, he apologised to them that his "bit of cheese" was keeping them off the top.
