A controversial choice this one, but East 17 or E-17 as they were later known, never really won the respect of the music industry, mainly due to their penchant for ridiculous puffy jackets and Brian Harvey's increasingly bizarre behaviour (How did he manage to run himself over?). Hits like House Of Love and Stay Another Day showed glimpses of genius, but overall the affect was laughable.
